Sponsored Scheme

This scheme concludes the eligibility criteria of the applicants who decide whether the sponsor is capable of looking after them or not. The applicants can also bag advantages from the government by providing them a promising background. The application is only marked valid if the eligibility requirements are rightly matched to the Spouse and Children/Step-Children/Legally Adopted Children who belong to a Singapore citizen or a Permanent Resident.

Eligibility:

• Applicant must be married to a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
• Applicant (younger than 21 years) must be a child of a legally married couple or one adopted legally by a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR).

Foreign Students Scheme

Foreign students who are studying in Singapore may apply to become a Permanent Resident, whose eligibility will be based on their own merits as long as they fulfill the following PR application requirements:
